Faith will lead You to the Wisdom of our Lord Jesus Christ
There are times when people say they are not able to pray or they cannot focus/concentrate, and the like; all essentially to state their inability to pray. They attribute this to many reasons whereas the true reason is right there in front of them but it is not realized. In Mt 6.21(and Lk 12.34) it is written: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (NIV)
Often our life is such that our heart is torn up and bits and pieces of it are literally spread out over a whole lot of issues/problems which are ours and sometimes others who we are concerned about. in other words we do not actually have our heart even to ourselves. In such state, it is not surprising that a person cannot pray.
So, what we need to do at first is to examine and understand where all our heart is lying and then gather your heart to yourself. Once this is done, then we will be in a better position to focus on prayer. From this position you will find that you are able to pray from within your heart; which is the kind of prayer the Lord our God wants to hear from us.
When faced with the inability to pray please remember this and you will be able to overcome the inability and regain your ability to pray.
Praise God!!!
