With Our Lord Jesus Christ, We Become Better

Life has its everyday challenges that test us to the core. And often, we are tempted to give up on our walk in faith. We feel that we can take the easy way out by succumbing to our human weakness. And, yet we should remember that we choose Christ, we make the decision to let our Lord Jesus Christ work through us to establish his kingdom on earth. He works through us in challenging situations within our family, at work and in our communities at large.

If we are feeling broken and discouraged, let us remember how our Lord on the Cross in his unimaginable pain not only forgave, but also prayed to his Father, the Lord our God, to forgive those who crucified him. We need to stand up in our lives to unjust, unfair situations. We need to be the Light. And we need to remain composed, despite the adversity we face. If we are centred in our Lord Jesus Christ, we will prevail because his will prevails. With Christ, we become better. Without Christ, and with only our emotions, we become bitter.
